Job Description:

Our client, a leading international shipping and logistics group operating across Africa, is seeking an accurate and hands-on Bookkeeper for its office in DMCC, Dubai. This role reports directly to the Finance Manager

Responsibilities:

• Process daily accounting entries, payables, and receivables.
• Prepare bank, vendor, and general ledger account reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end financial close and schedules.
• Maintain clean financial records and organized digital filing systems.
• Manage vendor invoice approvals, payment batches, and petty cash transactions.

Requirements: Qualification and Skill

• Proven bookkeeping or accounts experience (minimum 3–5 years preferred).
• Accurate, organized, and hands-on operational mindset.
• Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proficiency in accounting ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
• Prior industry experience in shipping, logistics, freight forwarding, or commodity trading is a strong advantage.
